FIFTY x FIFTY: Art and Philosophy in Balance

The exhibition FiftyFifty! connects art and philosophy, explores the relationship between freedom and rules, and emphasizes harmony as a central principle. Art and the art of living transcend material goals and unite form and content. In the climate crisis and in times of growing social tensions, they demand creative solutions and a balance between humanity and nature. Philosophers such as Næss, Emerson, and Lao Tzu urge us to reflect on the rhythms of nature and its metamorphoses. Aristotle identifies individual ethical values and universal justice as the basis for happiness. FiftyFifty! inspires the art of balance in a fragmented world.
